Blue Martini was founded in January of 2000 by Mark E. Vasu and Steve Day.

In December of 2000 Blue Martini opened its first unit at CityPlace in West Palm Beach Florida. Kyle Dorr and Byron Gardiner were brought into the company as operating partners.

West Palm Beach was an immediate hit with the public, since inception has been bar of the year voted by the public each year.

In the fall of 2001 Blue Martini began negotiations with The Taubman Co. to build a site adjacent to The Cheesecake Factory in the "Bay Street" segment of International Plaza Tampa.

In March 2002 Blue Martini opened in Tampa with a Boom, being credited as the best nightlife location in the city.

Just after opening Tampa Blue Martini assisted Harrah's Reno in developing and opening "Sapphire" a Blue Martini similar concept in their Casino hotel in Reno.

Blue Martini will be opening under a license agreement in Birmingham Michigan during the first two weeks of January 2003.

Blue Martini is currently negotiating sites in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, Houston Texas, and Completing a Lease in Dallas Texas.
